Accessibility statement

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This English text is a courtesy translation. Only the Dutch version is legally binding. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring

Summary

  • We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA across the whole website.
  • The site has been self-assessed, not audited by an outside party.
  • If something blocks you, report it at [email protected] or 020 846 3172; we reply within 2 working days.
  • Ask us beforehand about physical access to the studio.

01 Scope

This statement covers the Vedrodev website in Dutch and English. As a microenterprise, Vedrodev B.V. falls outside the service obligations of the European Accessibility Act, but we apply the same yardstick voluntarily: everyone should be able to prepare and request a session.

02 Standard and status

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the basis of European standard EN 301 549. Based on our own review, the site is partially conformant: most criteria are met, and the exceptions are listed below.

  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are skipped.
  • Headings, lists and tables use proper markup, so screen readers can follow the structure.
  • Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Each page declares its language, so speech software picks the right pronunciation.

03 Known limitations

  • Where audio samples appear, they do not yet always come with a text description of what you hear.
  • After sending, the contact form passes through FormSubmit; that step is outside our control and may be less accessible.
  • Some technical terms in the guides, such as LUFS or stems, are not explained in place everywhere.

If any of this stops you, get in touch and we will help by e-mail or phone and plan the session with you.

04 The studio itself

The studio is at Overtoom 293 in Amsterdam. Tram 1 stops close to the studio on the Overtoom (Jan Pieter Heijestraat stop). From Leidseplein it is about a 20-minute walk along the Vondelpark. You can park bikes outside the door; car parking in Oud-West is paid and limited.

If you use a wheelchair, hearing support or need another adjustment, tell us in advance through the contact page. We will tell you honestly what our rooms allow before you book.

05 Reporting and follow-up

Report an accessibility problem at [email protected] or 020 846 3172 (Mon–Fri 10–22, Sat 11–18), with the page and what went wrong. We reply within 2 working days and tell you when we expect to fix it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, consumer law remedies remain open to you; see also the terms and conditions.

06 How this statement was prepared

This statement is based on a self-assessment and was last updated on 5 October 2026. We review it after every major change to the site and at least once a year. The Dutch version is authoritative. For how we handle data in a report, see the privacy policy.
