A studio where you know what to expect
Since 2019 we have been recording singers, bands, podcasters and voice actors in a nineteenth-century building in Oud-West. Before you book, you know what a session costs, who will be at the desk and what you take home afterwards. No bundles with fine print, just a quote that spells out what we will do.

Your booking is fixed once you accept the quote and pay a 30% deposit.
Session and delivery
After the session we deliver within 7 working days. Project files are kept for 6 months.
Three rooms in an old building in Oud-West
The 48 m² live room fits a band of up to 6 musicians playing together, with a clear view into the 26 m² control room. The 9 m² vocal booth is used for vocals, single instruments, voice-over and podcasts.
You will find us at Overtoom 293, a short walk from the Jan Pieter Heijestraat tram stop. The studio works by appointment, so no session gets rushed because the next band is waiting at the door.

Rates you know in advance
An hour of vocal recording costs €85, a mix €290 per track. Every rate, with and without VAT, is listed on the services page.

Preparing for a vocal recording sessionOnce you are in the booth, the clock is running. Singers who arrive prepared spend their hours singing rather than searching, rewriting and waiting. Here is what we suggest before you come in.
How to budget a band recordingRecording with your band does not have to be an open-ended bill. A few honest decisions up front tell you what tracking, mixing and mastering will cost, and where the money makes the biggest difference.
Delivering your tracks for mixingA mix does not start at the first fader; it starts with the folder you send. The tidier your tracks, the more mixing time goes into sound rather than detective work.

How do I book a session?
Send a request through the form, call 020 846 3172 or email [email protected]. Within 2 working days you get a proposal and a quote. Once you accept and pay a 30% deposit, the session is confirmed.
Can I cancel free of charge?
Up to 3 days before the session you can cancel or move it at no cost. Later cancellations are charged at 50% of the booked amount. See the terms and conditions.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, every price shown includes 21% VAT. A four-hour half day of vocal recording, for example, costs €310. The services page also lists the amounts excluding VAT.
When do I get my files?
Recordings, mixes and masters are delivered within 7 working days of the session or, for mixing and mastering, of receiving all the files.
Is there a minimum age?
You can book on your own from age 16. If you are younger, a parent or guardian books for you and attends the session.
